Head coach and founder of Pageant Coach International, Angel, was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, a city where pageant resources, coaching, and opportunities lacked. Despite this, Angel went on to represent Manitoba and place competitively in her first attempt at all of Canada's grand slam pageants.

Since 2016, Angel discovered the world of pageant coaching by training as a competitor with three iconic international Miss Universe coaches and one of North America's most well-respected pageant interview coaches. This mentorship enabled her to achieve competitive placement in various international pageants, and win multiple national and international titles. Angel's experience working with various coaches, along with her own pageant experience allows her to hold a high pageant placement and success rate for clients she has coached.

In her professional life, she has been an educator in various academic settings and a mentor in the various leadership roles she has held. Angel's career in leadership began in 2010 managing brands for an experiential marketing organization in Central Canada while pursuing her university studies and caregiving for her grandmother. In 2011, she was the recipient of the Young Leader's Award, and from 2012 until 2017 she led a successful business and team as a manager. Following this she pursued her career in senior leadership. Throughout her career, Angel has helped many students, interns, employees, mentees, clients, and colleagues achieve career success through resume development, communication skills, and interview coaching. Angel also recently obtained her designation as a Certified Life Coach in 2021.
